Research Interest

His research focus is to develop computational models for personalized drug exposure prediction and its effects on drug responses. He is integrating genetic, epigenetic, environmental (i.e. drug interactions), physiological, clinical, and demographic variables into the modeling system. Extensive computational and informatics approaches are used: statistics, computational optimization, text mining, and ontology. The application of these drug exposure predictive models includes the patients population breast cancer, leukemia, autism, AIDS, and pregnant women. He is also exploring the application of this modeling system to the electronic medical records.
