Lang Li in the Division of Biostatistics/ClinicalPharmacology at the Indiana University, School of Medicine. We are part of the Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Dr. Li is a full member of the Indiana University Cancer Center.
His research focus is to develop computational models for personalized drug exposure prediction and its effects on drug responses. He is integrating genetic, epigenetic, environmental (i.e. drug interactions), physiological, clinical, and demographic variables into the modeling system. Extensive computational and informatics approaches are used: statistics, computational optimization, text mining, and ontology. The application of these drug exposure predictive models includes the patients population breast cancer, leukemia, autism, AIDS, and pregnant women. He is also exploring the application of this modeling system to the electronic medical records.
