I was graduated from Toho University, School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan in 1988. I have received PhD and MD from Nihon University School of Medicine in 1996. During 1988-1990. I was a resident in the Department of Internal Medicine Toho University, School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan.
During 1998-2012, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology, Nihon University School of Medicine, Tokyo Japan. In 2013, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology, Division of Laboratory Medicine, Nihon University School of Medicine.
During 2014-2018, I was an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology, Division of Laboratory Medicine, Nihon University School of Medicine. From 2000, I am a Director of Fujioka Dermatological Clinic, Tokyo, Japan. During 2016-2025, I was an Assistant Professor, Center for General Education, Showa Women’s University, Tokyo, Japan. From 2019, I am also an Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology, Nihon University School of Medicine, Tokyo Japan.
I have been chosen as a best author of the year of 2018 by OMICS International. I have experienced an editorial board member for many international journals, and also was a reviewer for reputed International Journal of Dermatology (2019-2020). I was the Editor-in-Chief for Biomedical Journal of Scientific and Technical Research (October 2022- September 2024) and have served as an Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Carcinogenesis and Mutagenesis from June 2023. I have been awarded the "Best Editor-in-Chief of the Year 2024" last year and recently won the "Best Editor-in-Chief of the Year 2025" from Journal of Carcinogenesis & Mutagenesis (JCM) again. While I have been awarded the "Best Editorial Board Member of the Year 2025" from JCM. I have more than 57 publications in prestige peer-reviewed international journals.
I am a councilor of the Japan Society for Medical English Education (JASMEE) and the Japan Association of Breast and Thyroid Sonology (JABTS). I will be involved in education for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) at JASMEE.
My work and research are focused on Immunohistochemistry and ultrasound in breast cancer, pathogenesis and ultrasound in Takayasu`s Arteritis, Flow-mediated vasodilation (FMD) and Nitroglycerin-mediated vasodilation (NMD) study in migraine, dermatologic ultrasound, cytogenetics and high resolution ultrasound in nodular fasciitis, endothelial dysfunction in COVID-19, VSRAD, PET imaging for oncology, medical imaging and genetics & cytogenetics, hepatic focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH), chemotherapy-induced FNH-like lesions, and oxaliplatin-induced sinusoidal obstruction syndrome.
