Biography

Kazuhiko Nakano completed his D.D.S. degree at Osaka University School of Dentistry in 1996 and received a Ph.D. (Pediatric Dentistry) from Osaka University in 2002. In 2003, he was appointed Chief of the Outpatient Clinic of the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic, Osaka University Dental Hospital, and designated as Associate Professor at the same institution in 2007. In 2011, Dr. Nakano became an Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry as well as Vice-head of the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic of Osaka University Dental Hospital.
He is a trustee of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry, International Association of Dental Research and Japanese Association of Dental Research.
Dr. Nakano has authored and co-authored more than 100 original research articles and clinical reports, as well as several book chapters in the fieled of pediatric dentistry and clinical oral microbiology.
