Biography

Julijana Nikolovska D.D.S, PhD, holds Doctor of Dental Science degree from St. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. She is a specialist in prosthodontics and an associate professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Skopje. At the present moment, Nikolovska teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students in Ethics and deontology, Medical Psychology and Public Dental Health. The title of her PhD thesis is Management of Oral Healthcare System in Republic of Macedonia. She has been interested in oral health care systems and she makes comparative analyses between the systems in order to suggest the best solution for oral health care system in Macedonia. Dr. Nikolovska is a member of the European Association for Dental Public Health since 2006.
From 4th April 2007 – 5th June 2007 she attended the postgraduate course: New concepts in Dental Education and Public Oral Health, organized by WHO Collaborating Centre, University Medical Centre St Radboud, Nijmegen, The Netherlands and she gets certificate of participation. The lectures in Community Dentistry were organised by Professor Wim van Pallenstain and lectures in Preventive Dentistry and ART technique by Professor Jo Frencken
Doctor Nikolovska has extesively published in peer review aticles and she was the member of international editorial bord in Oral Health and Dental Management journal. She is one of the authors of two books edited by the Dental Chamber of Macedonia: Strategic plan for Dental Medicine development in Republic of Macedonia for the period 2011-2021 and Diagnostic and Therapeutic Protocols in Dentistry.
