Biography

Dr. Barry Rubel has been on the faculty of the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry since April, 2004 and is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He serves as Director of Pre-Clinical and Clinical Removable Prosthodontics at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and is actively engaged in teaching dental students.

Dr. Rubel has produced several instructional videos in the field of removable prosthodontics for the pre-clinical and clinical areas of study, has published numerous articles and a chapter on impression materials in Dental Clinics of North America and serves as course director for teaching complete denture and partial denture prosthodontics. He has also written a textbook entitled A Clinical Guide to Complete Denture Prosthodontics. He is a consultant for interdepartmental referrals for GPR and AEGD Resident Programs for restorative, fixed, implant, and removable clinics. He has presented lectures to dental societies and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Prosthodontics and the Indian Journal of Dental Research.. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and Mississippi Dental Association.
