Biography

Prof. Antonino Nizza graduated in Veterinary Medicine in Naples Federico II University and he has specialised in Animal Nutrition during the period of three years. In the same University he is full professor of “Rabbit and Poultry Science” and “Aquaculture”. He is chief of Department of Animal Science and Food Control (Scienze Zootecniche e Ispezione degli alimenti) since 2008. He was Coordinator of the degree course of “Animal Production” from 2001 to 2007. He currently teaches undergraduates and graduates studying Animal Production Technology and Animal Nutrition. Within this field he coordinates the courses of Aquaculture and Rabbit and Poultry Science. He is serving as an editorial board member of the international journal “Italian Journal of Animal Science. He is a member of Animal Science and Production Association (ASPA), Italian Society of Veterinary Science (SISVET), Poultry Italian Scientific Association, Rabbit Italian Scientific Association. He is author of more than 160 scientific papers and communications resulted from his research activity published on international scientific journals and presented at international and national congresses.
