Biography
Dr Andrew Short has been researching and practising in the area of biomechanics and injury since 1995. Since 2004, he has been providing Expert Report to Solicitors and Barristers on hundreds of personal injury cases and won the Worksafe Award with Racing Victoria in October 2009 for the introduction of frangible posts to thoroughbred racetracks.
He investigates the circumstances of injuries in public areas, playgrounds, workplaces, shafts and tunnels for lifts and mines, and in vehicle crashes including cars, trucks, ATVs, cyclists and pedestrians. He works on civil and criminal cases and provides independent reports for both plaintiff and defence.
