Biography

Abdul Razeq M. Younis completed his PhD in 1983 from University of Pittsburgh, 1983Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania U.S.A. Master's in Library Science (MLS), Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida 32306, USA. Diploma in Teaching Various Subjects, with emphasis on Library Science, Amman Teachers’ Institute, June 1967. He won many awards in different fields. He was working as a Professor, Associate Professor in various colleges. Currently, he is woking as Professor, Department of Library & Information Science, Faculty of Educational Sciences, The University of Jordan. His current research interest is Library Cooperation & Information Networks, Lib & Info Centers Automation, Library Services & Information Sources; Electronic and Traditional (printed). Intellectual Property and Copyrights, Standards & Quality Assurance in Library & Information Science Education, Leadership in Libraries & Information Centers, including training cources. He has many more than 60 publications in various esteemed Journals. Representative Member of the Doctoral Students Guild and International Students at the Recruitment Committee at the School of Library and Information Science, University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA 1982, 1983. He is the Editorial Board Member and reviewed many articles of the Journal. He also attended many conferences/ Seminars.
