Biography

Abdollah Dehzangi received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering-Hardware from Shiraz University, Iran in 2007, the Master degree in the area of bioinformatics from Multi Media University (MMU), Cyberjaya, Malaysia in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics and computational biology from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia in 2014. He has also worked as a researcher in National ICT Australia (NICTA) from 2011 until 2014 and as a research assistant at Griffith University from 2014 until 2015. He is currently working as a postdoctral research scholar in Medical Research Centre (MRC) at University of Iowa, Iowa City, USA. His research interests include Bioinformatics, protein fold and structural class prediction problems, Gene Expression and Genome Variant, eQTL, Genomics, Protein structure and function prediction problems, Data mining, Statistical learning theory, Pattern Recognition, and Machine Learning.
