    Change is the only thing which is constant. With the increase in the number of adult patients seeking orthodontic treatment there was a slight downfall in relation with acceptance of orthodontic treatment due to poor aesthetics. The limitations with the previous method were the prime reason of coming up will something more aesthetic and patient friendly. The fact that treatment could be carried out making it look less conspicuous drove the attention of patients as well as the practioners. Thus, there was more research on the bracket type, the basic difference between labial and lingual orthodontics in terms of biomechanics, anchorage control treatment planning and execution.
