Sharon LR Kardia

Dr. Kardia is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Michigan. She is Director of the Public Health Genetics Program, Co-Director of The Center for Public Health and Community Genomics, and Co-Director of the Life Sciences & Society Program housed in the University of Michigan School of Public Health.

Biography
Completed her Ph.D., Human Genetics from University of Michigan, 1991 and M.A., Statistics, University of Michigan, 1990
Research Interest
Genetic epidemiology with a focus on genetics of common chronic diseases, especially cardiovascular disease and hypertension.
