Biography
Sebastien Guenneau is currently working as a CNRS Research Director (DR2) at Aix-Marseille Université Institut Fresnel (UMR CNRS 7249), France. Sebastien earned his Ph.D. with the thesis “Physique des particules, physique mathematique et modelization” at the University of Aix-Marseille, Institut Fresnel, UMR CNRS 7249, France in 2001. He was elected to the London Mathematical Society in 2005. He has published more than 60 research articles in various international scientific journals.

Guenneau’s research interests include Acoustic waves, Elastodynamic waves, Electromagnetic waves, Water waves, Diffusion processes, Homogenisation and asymptotic methods, Image and data processing, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Photonics and Optical Communications and Condensed Matter Physics
