Biography
Renato Cataluna has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1983), a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1985), specialization in Petrochemical Processing Engineering (CENPEQ)? UFRGS / Petrobras / Petroquisa (1985), Ph.D. in Environmental Technology at the Technical School of Industrial Engineering - Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (1995) and postdoctoral degree at the Technical University of Delft, DelftChemTech, Catalysis Engineering? Netherlands in the post-combustion catalytic treatment area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹diesel engine emissions (2009). Currently Associate Professor IV of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Scholarship CNPq, level II Productivity in Technological Development. He has professional experience in the areas of Chemical Technology - with emphasis on petrochemical processes, environmental catalysis, oxy-reduction of atmospheric contaminants, characterization of heterogeneous catalysts and developments of oxygenated fuels and biomass for internal combustion engines.
