Ms. Deki Pem

Biography

Ms. Deki Pem is a lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing and Public Health, Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan and a Registered Nurse. She has Master in Nursing Science in Child, Family and Community, Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery and Bachelor in Nursing from La Trobe University, Australia. She was a recipient of the Golden Key Award on Academic Excellence in 2006 for her undergraduate degree and recipient of National Order of Merit Gold Medal on Academic Excellence from the King of Bhutan in 2013.

Research Interest

Her current research interests are on nursing and midwifery, breastfeeding and HIV/AIDS.
