Monica Butnariu

Biography

Dr. Monica Butnariu has received her PhD in Science during the period of 1999–2005. Currently, she is working as Associate Professor in Banat’s University from Timisoara. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities as Chancellor scientific. Her research includes Identification and quantification of biocompounds in life science and applied biotechnology areas, aimed at sustainable development. Based on this research and fellowship training he/she has received several awards and honors, such as Gold and Silvers Medals for patents appreciated in the inventics salons and exhibitions: National (Bucharest, Iasi and Cluj) and International (Geneva, Bruxelles, Zagreb, Seul, and Budapest). She is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Academia Journal of Medicinal Plants, American Journal of Advanced Drug Delivery, International Journal of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, etc. and reviewers for journals like Natural Product Research, Asian Journal of Pharmaceutics, Chemistry Central Journal, Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, International Journal of Molecular Sciences. She have authored 31 research articles/books and 5 patents. She is a member of American Nano Society, Ambassadors Basel Declaration for Advances in human and veterinary medicine through animal experiments, Council for Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, Italo-Latin American Society of Ethnomedicine, Biochemical Society.
