Biography
Professor Tadeusz Malinski was born in Ã
Å¡rem. In the years 1964 to 1969 he studied chemistry at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. In 1969 he began work as an assistant professor in Kazimir KapitaÃ
âczyk’s team - the newly created Department of Chemistry at Technology University of Poznan. In 1983 he obtained a permanent professorship at the University of Oakland. In 2000 he was professor and Dean of "Marvin & Ann Dilley White Chair" in biomedical research laboratories and a team from the University of Ohio, in 2006 he was awarded the prestigious academic title of Distinguish Professor. Since 2005 he is Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Ohio. He was invited to deliver lectures at over 120 universities worldwide, including 65 American universities, including the dozen most prestigious, such as Stanford, Harvard, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Columbia and Cornell, as well as academic medical centers - Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic. Professor Tadeusz Malinski has authored about 250 scientific articles, published in the most prestigious scientific journals.
Research Interest
Professor Malinski’s research focuses on the development and application of new materials and biotechnology systems for medical research and medical diagnostics. His early research concerned the design and synthesis of new materials with structures similar to biological structures that can conduct electricity and the use of electrochemical methods to study the effects of rheology and viscosity in preparations on blood substitutes.
