Biography
He is a Principal Scientist for National Referral Laboratory, NRC for Grapes (ICAR), Pune. He received his Doctoral Degree in Agricultural Chemicals from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India in 1996, followed by a Postdoctoral program in 2004. He is a graduated in B.Sc. (Agriculture) Honours from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV), Mohanpur, West Bengal, India in 1989 , with an immediate post-graduation in Agricultural Chemicals from Division of Agricultural Chemicals, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, India in 1992. He served as a Scientist for Agricultural Chemistry for 9 years . As a Senior Scientists in Agricultural Chemistry for 6 years. He is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research. As a Scientists credits him with many publications in national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his/her authorship of many books.
Research Interest
His research interests, as a Scientist lie in Advanced chromatography and mass spectrometry, Risk Assessment Studies, Comprehensive screening of target, non-target and unknown emerging contaminants in fruits and vegetables by GC-MS and LC-MS.
