Biography

He completed his graduation at Escola Paulista de Medicina, Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) in 1979, after having worked as a mechanical turner between the ages of 16 and 19 and as a laboratory technician throughout his undergraduate course. He completed his Medical Residency in Nephrology at Hospital São Paulo in 1983, remaining connected to the institution as head of the Emergency Room and in the leadership of the renal transplant group.
