Catherine M. Flaitz
Biography
atherine M. Flaitz, DDS, MS, is Division Chief of Dentistry at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and professor and chair of the Division of Pediatric Dentistry at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Flaitz also holds an adjunct appointment in the Department of Head and Neck Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Dr. Flaitz received her dental degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry and received specialty certification and her MS in pediatric dentistry and oral and maxillofacial pathology from The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Dr. Flaitz’s research focuses on the diagnosis and management of oral diseases in medically complex children, including novel treatment approaches.
