Biography
Dr. Benedict Cluzel is Materials Engineer (ESIREM) and a doctorate in Physics from the University of Burgundy.  He realized his thesis work at CEA Grenoble on manufacturing and imaging photonic crystal silicon on insulator. After postdoctoral work in biophotonics at the Fresnel Institute in2006 Benedict Cluzel integrated the ICB laboratory as a lecturer. In 2012, he supported his Habilitation entitled Researches Tools and concepts of near-field optics to nanophotonics.    
Research Interest
Benedict’s research interests include Near-field Optics, Nanophotonics, Photonic Crystals and Plasmonics
