Biography
Dr. Allen-Vercoe E Currently heads a research lab with 2 technicians, 5 PhD students and 2 MSc students. Researches the role of the human gut microbiota in health and disease, and in particular studies ways to balance a dysbiotic microbiota. Also teaches Introduction to Microbiology (Fall semesters) and Pathogenic Bacteriology (Winter semesters).
Research Interest
