Biography
Adelaide Robb, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist as well as a general (adult) psychiatrist by training. She is double-boarded in both specialties. She went to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for her medical school and General Psychiatry Residency. She then did a 4 year research fellowship in psychiatric genetics at the National Institutes of Mental Health (NIMH). She then moved to Children's National Medical Center for her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training. Her primary area of interest is pediatric psychopharmacology and she has been the PI on over 30 pediatric pharmacology trials. She is currently funded by industry for trials in pediatric bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, major depression, schizophrenia, and autism. She is also funded as co-PI on a NIMH multisite bipolar trial and the clinical pharmacologist on the PPRU funded by NICHD. She is also the psychiatrist on the AAP committee on drugs and the AACAP pediatric psychopharmacology initiative.
