Biography
Dr. Garikipati obtained his master’s degree in Biotechnology from North Maharashtra University, India and pursued doctoral studies in the area of stem cell therapy for heart regeneration from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, India and moved to Northwestern University, Chicago to work on role of IL-10 signaling on bone marrow derived endothelial progenitor cells mediated cardiac repair for his first postdoc and then to center for Translational Medicine, Temple University, Philadelphia for his second postdoc.
Research Interest
Dr. Garikipati’s current research includes studies that will unravel the intricacies of stem cell derived exosomes for cardiac repair and role of non-coding RNA therapeutics for cardiac repair.
