Rakib Akif AL-Ani has done BSc in agricultural science / University of Baghdad – 1966 License in Science / University of Louis Pasteur / France – 1974 PhD (Doctora es-Science) in natural science / University of Louis Pasteur / France – 1980 Lecturer in plant pathology (viral and bacterial diseases) / Plant Protection Department / College of Agriculture / University of Baghdad Assistant Professor – 1988 Full Professor – 1994 Head of Plant Protection Department – from 1998 to 2001 and from 2007 to 2011
