Biography

Dr. Kan Xiong is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Paul Blainey’s group at Broad institute of MIT & Harvard. He obtained his Ph.D. in chemistry from Prof. Sanford Asher’s group at the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. His doctoral research focused on the development and application of steady-state and time-resolved UV-Resonance Raman spectroscopy (UVRR) to problems in protein folding and halide ion-solvent charge-transfer transitions.

His research interests includes Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, Drug-Drug interaction, Drug Development, Drug delivery & safety, Drug metabolism, Gene Therapy, Novel technology for gene transfer, Gene transfer to induce cellular reprogramming.
