Biography
Dr. Jonge, Marien de, is a professor of Molecular microbiologist, Head of the Laboratory of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Netherlands. He has completed his M.Sc. in Biology, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 1999. His Ph.D. Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Faculty of Medicine, Universiteit van Amsterdam in 2003. His main aim is to improve diagnosis, prevention and treatment of severe infections in children. He served as a Postdoctoral scientist, Institut Pasteur, Paris, France in 2004-2006.
