Mr Jitoko K.Cama has received his MB.BS and Master of Medicine-Surgery degree from the University of the South Pacific during the period of 1996 and 2003 respectively. Currently, he is working as a consultant paediatric surgeon and paediatric urologist at Waikato Hospital and is also a honorary senior clinical lecturer in surgery at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. His research has included rare congenital anomalies in children, the peculiar appearance of Liver abscess on the MRI and Male breast cancer. He is serving as an expert Reviewers for journals like Pacific Health Dialogue and Digestive Diseases and Science Journal and recently the Journal of Liver. He has authored 14 research articles including case reports of rare congenital anomalies and how to manage them in developing countries. He is a member of Pacific Island Surgeons Association (PISA), Pacific Association of Paediatric Surgeons (PAPS), Australia and New Zealand Association of Paediatric Surgeons (ANZAPS) and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Surgeons (NZSPS).
