Biography

Dr. Hisham Abdel-Aziz Hashem has received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry from Greifswald University, institute of Pharmacy (Germany) during the period of 2003-2008. Currently, he is working as Associate Prof. in Zagazig University, Faculty of Pharmacy (Egypt, permanent address) and in Jazan University, Faculty of Pharmacy (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, current address). His research has included pharmaceutical analysis techniques such as separation sciences (HPLC and CE) and spectroscopy (spectrophotometry, spectrofluorometry and atomic absorption spectroscopy). Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as Zagazig university awards for publication in international journals (2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012). He is serving as an editorial member of some reputed journals like International Journal of Instrumental Analysis [IJIA] and UK Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biosciences (UKJPB) & expert Reviewer for journals like Arabian Journal of Chemistry, Journal of Liquid Chromatography & Related Technologies, Scientia Pharmaceutica, Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Spectrochimica Acta Part A, Journal of Research in Environmental Science and Toxicology, Journal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, Botanics: Targets and Therapy and Journal of Pharmacovigilance. He has authored 24 research articles.
