Dr. Bai has received his PhD from Fudan University (China) in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Currently, he is working as Research Associate (Faculty) in School of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University. His primary research interests include differentiation and interaction of endothelial cells and hematopoietic cells derived from human pluripotent stem cells, including human embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). He is serving as an expert reviewer for several reputed journals like PlosOne, Stem Cell Research, Stem Cell Reports, Stem Cell Reviews and Reports, Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, Current Stem Cell Research and Therapy, Journal of Stem Cell Research and Therapy, etc. He has published more than twenty papers in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR), American Society of Hematology (ASH), and American Heart Association (AHA).
His primary research interests include differentiation and interaction of endothelial cells and hematopoietic cells derived from human pluripotent stem cells, including human embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
