Abstract:

Vaccines against a range of different viral and bacterial diseases are in widespread use. Several emerging issues due to raising global problem of antibacterial resistance (known as ESKAPE pathogens but others like Neisseria gonorrhoea and Clostridium difficile), resistant tuberculosis (MDR), reappearing pertussis as well as viral or parasitic diseases underline important role of adapted immunization and effective diagnostic and surveillance along with need of better understanding of genetic and immunologic background of host specific response.
