Abstract:

Course Description: The single-tooth implant restoration has become something the restorative dentist encounters on a daily basis. And whether the restorative clinician performs both the surgical and restorative aspects of therapy or refers out for surgical placement, a working knowledge of surgical treatment planning will aid the restorative dentist in approaching the single-tooth edentulous space with confidence. This course will inform the clinician about the surgical treatment planning aspects of single-tooth implant dentistry. Course Objectives: Participants who complete this course should be able to: Determine the surgical and restorative suitability of a site for a single tooth implant; recognize the clinical and radiographic factors that play a role in treatment planning for dental implants. Understand how surgical treatment planning of a single-tooth implant case can and should integrate with the restorative treatment plan designed by the referring dentist. shatnes551@yahoo.com
