Methods: Retrospective study of turnaround time for non-remunerated blood donation (N=100) in blood transfusion centre, faculty of medicine, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. The data was collected by walk in non-remunerated blood donor application (A) and blood donation mobile unit (B) and compare turnaround time between two side blood donations. Statistical methods for Mean±SD time period of: (1) Waiting time for the screening room, (2) Waiting time for blood donation, (3) Time for blood donation, (4) Waiting time for rest in bed and (5) Waiting time for blood pressure check. Results: Turnaround time for blood donation at A and B is 44±12 and 21±8 minutes. It can divide into: (1) Waiting time for the screening room, (2) Waiting time for blood donation, (3) Time for blood donation, (4) Waiting time for rest in bed and (5) Waiting time for blood pressure check were 6±4/NA, 5±3/4+2, 7±2/9+3, 6±4/8+3 and 19±10/NA minutes, respectively. Conclusion: 21 to 44 minutes for once blood donation is effective. The time for rest after blood donation is 19±10 minutes the non-remunerated blood donation will take only 25 minutes for finish the procedure. The satisfaction rate was more than 90%
