Abstract:

Many patients who daily seek many private clinics for hospital services, complaining of facial pain, neck and headaches. The vast majority are chronic patients, who use drugs on a large scale, has often disabling pain. The diagnosis, management and treatment of these individuals is very controversial, since it can be received by doctors and dentists in various specialties and they seek, in most cases, the immediate pain relief usually in drug form. The objective of this work is to show, within the various painful conditions that affect the head, the identification and diagnosis of myofascial pain and behaviors and clinical maneuvers that can relieve and even treat these chronic patients less invasively.
