Abstract:

Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common cause of death in old age. This paper is on medicinal plants that can be used in treatment of breast cancer. This is prepared in accordance with the innovation and impact of the work in the field of cancer research and scope. Methods: This paper was prepared by searching various papers on phytotherapy of breast cancer. Literature was taken from various books such as phytomedicine and pharmacognosy. Result: Literature review of clinical data and in vitro studies indicated that plants have anticancer activities and can be enforced in breast cancer. Discussion: Our focus of study is to review the medicinal plants activities which are in preclinical or clinical trial phase. Some of plants are being used in treatment of breast cancer. Further we will detect the anti-cancer agents from these plants whose anti-cancer agents are not isolated or detected
