Abstract:

Introduction: Interprofessional education has been defined as a process learning program which includes learning outcomes, lecturer, material topics and skill enabling a synergistic influence of grouped student’s competence. Research Design: The overall aim of this study is to explore the appropriateness and meaningfulness of Ethics Coursebased learning for nursing students in educational settings to inform curriculum in Ethics and Health Law. The sample of this study is 40 respondents, the students who the first semester in nursing students at postgraduate programs. The research design used research and development designs that some steps done for six months. Results: The result of this study showed that the significant for the materials of ethics, curricula, learning outcomes (P=0,000). The students showed an active participation, communication and show a good collaboration regarding health problem solving on handling non communicable diseases. Management of interprofessional education (pretest = 54,32 and posttest mean 67,48) is needed in health education, as an approach to the learning process, includes the flexibility to respond to the specific (P=0,002), selfidentified learning needs of students (P= 0,000). The results of focus group discussion showed that Knowing how to learn, having high expectations in problem solving, applying competencies to case tasks, collaborating with others, and being creative are all signs of a capable practitioner. Conclusion: There are important characteristics that determine interprofessional education of ethic course effectiveness, including lecturer and student members seeing their roles as important to the team, open communication, the existence of autonomy, and equality of resources. It is important to note that interprofessional education can have a positive impact on build the holistic care to improve the quality of patient care.

Biography :

Etti Rosenberg is a nurse practitioner in policy and management at Clalit Health Organization the largest in Israel and head of the policy department for 14,000 nurses in 14 hospitals and 2500 community clinics. She studied Nursing at the Tel Aviv University Dina School of nursing Peach Tikvah and graduated as MA in 2004 from Clark University. She then worked as the nurse executive for Belinson hospital followed by heading the Tel Aviv community district. She is the admin for the nursing social media for Clalit and for the Israel ethics committee she is the only Israeli Nurse featured in the WHO / WIGH/ICN/Nursing Now outstanding women nurses 2020.
