Abstract:

Restoring severely atrophied cases can be very challenging due to the proximity of the sinuses, nerves and the resorption of the alveolar crest. Bone grafts, mental nerve displacement and sinus lift procedures are used to overcome the initially poor anatomical and mechanical conditions of these cases. The cortically fixed at once approach; CF@O uses the remaining bone by fixing specific implants. Hybrid plates, highly flexible, adaptable to all bone conditions as well as for the maxilla and mandible as well as pterygoid implants and compressive implants respond to these specific demands of less invasive procedures to rehabilitate the atrophied bone by immediate loading. The specificity is that no bone graft, no sinus lift and no nerve displacement are used.
