Abstract:
The field investigation experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2012 on PG research farm, department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, VNMKV, Parbhani it was observed from present investigation that the plant spacing 30 x 10 cm with variety BDU-1 was found be significantly superior over rest of the plant spacings and varieties in respect to plant height (cm), number of leaves , leaf area (cm), mean dry matter production ,number of braches per plant, leaf area index, biological yield (kg/ha), seed yield (kg/ha).
