Abstract:

Stem cells are undifferentiated cells, capable of renewing themselves, with the capacity to produce different cell types to regenerate missing tissues and treat diseases. Teeth are the most natural, non-invasive source of stem cells. Dental stem cells offer a very promising therapeutic approach to restore structural defects. This review will focus on the various intraoral-derived stem cells and their clinical application.
