Abstract:

Prevalence of psoriasis in dermatology department of maiwand teaching hospital ,this research done on 350 patients in IPD ,51patients affected by psoriasis in our research the prevalence of psoriasis is 14,6% of total skin disease in our research ,according to the age we found two patients (13.9%) from birth to 10 years old,10 patients (19.6%), between 11 to 20 year 29 patients (56,8%), patients between the age of 21 to 30 years we had seven patients (13.8%) ,and patients between 31 to 40 years old three patients (5.9%) . In our research according to the sex, we found 26 patients (50.9%) in male and 25 patients (49.1%) in female. In our research according to the clinic pattern we found 44 patients (86.3%) OD plaque type psoriasis, 4 patients (7.8%) guttate type of psoriasis, 2 patients (3.9%) pustular type psoriasis and one patients (2%) erythrodermic type of psoriasis.

Biography :

Ashuq ur Rahman completed his bachelor degree at the age of 25 year from Nangarhar medical faculty, Afghanistan. He is now doing has specialization in dermatology in Maiwand Teaching Hospital, and he is also a member of cosmology in Kabul Afghanistan.
