Abstract:

Achieving global climate goals requires coordinated economic policies that promote renewable energy investment while ensuring sustainable economic growth. This presentation explores recent developments in climate economics, carbon pric ing, emissions trading systems, green finance, and policy mechanisms that support the transition to low-carbon economies. Scientific evidence demonstrates that well-designed climate policies can reduce greenhouse gas emissions while stimulating innovation, employment, and long-term economic resilience.

The session reviews international experiences in renewable energy deployment, industrial decarbonization, sustainable infrastructure, and climate-resilient development. Emerging financial instruments, environmental taxation, public-private partnerships, and sustainable investment strategies are accelerating the adoption of clean technologies across multiple sec tors. Advances in economic modeling, environmental risk assessment, and climate governance are helping policymakers evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies and optimize future investments. Future perspectives include carbon-neu tral industrial transformation, sustainable urban development, and integrated policy frameworks that balance economic prosperity with environmental protection.
