Abstract:

Background: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a valuable tool in anesthesiology by assisting with perioperative monitoring, risk prediction, and clinical decision-making.

Objective: To evaluate awareness, acceptance, and utilization of AI technologies among anesthesia professionals in Australia.

Method: An online questionnaire-based survey was distributed to anesthesiologists and anesthesia trainees nationwide. Information regarding AI applications, benefits, challenges, and future expectations was collected and analyzed.

Result: Sixty-eight percent of participants reported familiarity with AI-assisted monitoring systems. Nearly 73% believed AI could improve patient safety, while 64% supported integrating AI into routine perioperative practice.

Conclusion: Australian anesthesia professionals demonstrate positive attitudes toward AI-assisted healthcare. Appropriate training and clinical validation are essential for successful implementation
