Science outreach is the process of communicating scientific knowledge, discoveries and methods to the public in ways that are accessible, engaging and meaningful. It serves as a bridge between researchers and society, helping people understand scientific concepts, appreciate scientific achievements and make informed decisions based on evidence. In an era characterized by rapid technological advancement and increasing dependence on scientific innovation, science outreach has become an essential component of scientific practice and public education.
The primary objective of science outreach is to increase public awareness and understanding of science. Many scientific discoveries and technological developments directly affect daily life, including healthcare, environmental sustainability, communication systems and space exploration.
