Biography

Dr Bai obtained his PhD from Columbia University in 1996 with Dr Larry Chasin and his postdoctoral training was with Dr Giuseppe Attardi at Caltech Dr Bai started his own lab at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2001 and now he is a tenured associate professor in the department of Cellular and Structural Biology there He is also an adjunct professor at Wenzhou Medical College in China Over the years Dr Bai has trained 6 postdoctoral fellows and more than 10 graduate students both at UT and WMC He has served in the review panels for NIH AHA UMDF MRC Welcome Trust and other funding agencies and reviewed manuscripts for more than 30 scientific journals
