Biography

Yazmin Odia, MD MSc, cares for patients with brain tumors, primary or metastatic. Dr. Odia completed her medical training at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, a Master of Science in Clinical Research at the Mayo Graduate School in Rochester, MN, and her neurology residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospitals. She served as both clinical and research fellow in Neuro-Oncology and as Neurology consultant at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for three years. Dr. Odia is certified in Neuro-Oncology through the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS). She also has clinical trial and translational research experience through various NIH-funded training grants. Her most recent work includes early phase clinical trials for patients with recurrent gliomas as well as translational research on clinical correlates of novel biomarkers in gliomas and other brain tumors.
