Dr. Yan Gong is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research at University of Florida USA. She has received her PhD degree in Pharmaceutics at University of Florida. She completed Master of Statistics in the year of 2003 at University of Florida and received degree of M.Sc. in Pharmaceutics at West China University of Medical Sciences, China. She is teaching in the University of Florida since 1999. During her carrier she has won many awards including Travel award from American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year of 2003, Best Poster Award by American Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics in the year of 2005, Presidential Trainee Award by American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics in 2006 and also Open Access Award, University of Florida in the year of 2012. She has more than 60 publications as author and co author in many international journals. She is also serving as an Editorial Board Member to the journal PLOS ONE since 2011. She is member of American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, American Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, American Heart Association and International Society of Genetic Epidemiology.
Dr. Yan Gong’s areas of interest are Pharmacogenomics and Metabolomics, with background in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biostatistics.
