Wilbert S. Aronow, MD is Clinical Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College.
He has edited 8 books and is author or coauthor of 1,180 papers (618 original research papers, 150 chapters in 84 books, 364 review papers, and 48  editorials), 163 Letters to the Editor, commentaries, or book reviews, and 846 abstracts. He has given 1,167 talks at meetings.
Dr. Aronow has been a member of 54 editorial boards of medical journals, an associate editor for 5 medical journals, a guest editor for 6 other medical journals, and has reviewed manuscripts for 193 medical journals.  He has been a consultant to numerous government agencies and a member of committees in numerous professional societies. He has received numerous awards including the Walter Bliefeld Memorial Award for distinguished contributions to clinical research from the International Academy of Cardiology at the 15th World Congress on Heart Disease in 2010.
