Biography

Dr. Wei Li received his PhD degree in State Key Laboratory of Virology, Wuhan University, China. He has been working as a postdoctoral research scientist at Stanford University School of Medicine from Sep 2009 to May 2013. He was awarded by the Stanford CHRI fellowship ($50,000/yr) and Oak Foundation Fellowship ($125,000/yr) during his postdoctoral research. Currently he is an Investigator in Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Shanghai, China. His research is now focused on the next-generation sequencing and epigenetic studies of heart diseases, cancers, muscle regenerations, and infectious diseases. His works were published on several peer-reviewed journals, including J Virol, PLoS ONE, Eur J Immuno, J Immunology, Cardiovasc Res, PNAS, Dev Cell, etc.

Research Interest

My research interests are very broad, including the medical virology, developmental biology, heart diseases, cardiovascular medicine, cancers, muscle regenerations, and epigenetic related studies, etc.
