Biography

Dr. Wan-Liang Lu (Lyu) is a tenured full professor of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Peking University, Deputy Director of Beijing Key Laboratory for Molecular Pharmaceutics, Vice Director of Pharmaceutics Committee at Chinese Pharmaceutical Association (CPA), Executive Director, Chinese Society of Particuology (CSP), etc. He received his PhD degree from China Pharmaceutical University. He was a research scientist at National University of Singapore (NUS)/National University Hospital (NUH), Johns Hopkins Singapore International Medical Centre, and Toyama Medical & Pharmaceutical University. During the latest ten years, he was appointed as Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics, Vice Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Peking University, and President of Controlled Release Society China Local Chapter (CRS China Chapter). His research involves in nanomedicine, cancer and cancer stem cells, and biopharmaceutics, resulting in 180 research papers in these fields. He was the recipient of Natural Science Award of China Education Ministry in the year 2009, 2012 and 2019.
