Biography

Vikas Sharma is presently pursuing Ph.D from Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. He is the recipient of prestigious AICTE, National Doctoral Fellowship for his doctoral studies. He has around 16 national and international publications in different journals of repute. After earning his M. Pharmacy degree (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) with GATE fellowship, he joined as Senior Research Fellow in a cancer project at Department of Biophysics, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh. Later on, he worked as Assistant Professor at Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana and at Department of Pharmacy, Central University of Rajasthan, Bandarsindri, Ajmer, Rajasthan.

Research Interest

• Computer Aided Drug Design like QSAR models, Docking studies etc.

• Development of in silico models for use in structure activity studies

• Design and synthesis of biologically active molecules.

• Synthesis of anticancer agents and their evaluation in vitro on cancer cell lines.
