Biography

Prof. Tao CHEN has the titles of the National Natural Science Foundation for Excellent Young Scholars, Chongqing Outstanding Youth, Chongqing Talents Leading Talents in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Chongqing Young and Middle-aged Medical High-end Talents, Chongqing "Bayu Scholars" Young Scholars, and now is appointed as Distinguished Professor of Chongqing Medical University. Prof. Tao CHEN obtained his doctorate degree from West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University in June 2016, under the supervision of Professor Hu Jing. During his doctoral studies, he was sent to Stanford University Medical Center for joint training by Chinese National Scholarship Council. In the joint training stage he was under the tutelage of Professor Jill Helms, a well-known scholar in stem cell research. Since July 2016, Prof. Tao CHEN has served as professor, researcher (senior), deputy chief physician, and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Implantology, Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. Prof. Tao CHEN and his research group are currently committed to the research of implant dentistry and the development of cranio-maxillofacial regeneration materials. Furthermore, Prof. Tao CHEN has an interest in the pathogenesis and treatment of peri-implant inflammation under pathological conditions
